[ENGLISH BELOW] Il culto degli antenati è basato sulla convinzione che l'anima di una persona sopravviva alla morte fisica e che protegga i discendenti dall'aldilà , attraverso dei rituali e cerimonie si permetteva ai defunti di operare sul lato terreno e i vivi potevano entrare a contatto con il mondo ultraterreno.
È una pratica che si riferisce a celebrare i defunti fondatori di una tradizione spirituale , di una discendenza , potendo anche interferire sugli avvenimenti terreni positivamente o negativamente.
Ovviamente non tutti i defunti facevano parte dei culti legati agli antenati infatti anche la modalità di sepoltura era diversa. E non tutti gli antenati erano presenze benevole , molte volte in tante tradizioni gli stessi potevano diventare dei Demoni che portavano sciagura , per questo era importante celebrarli e far si che fossero sempre benevoli.
Questa pratica è da sempre presente in diverse culture , possiamo trovarla nella tradizione Cinese, nelle varie culture legate allo Sciamanesimo , nei culti dei nativi in America , Africa , Grecia ed in Egitto. Presenti anche in tantissime altre parti del mondo, anche in diverse culture come i Celti e in quella dei Romani.
Tante sono le forme divinatorie , i ricettacoli delle anime e le tavole funerarie che fanno riferimento ai culti degli antenati trovate nel corso dei secoli, alcune comprendono anche riti funerari e quelli mortuari.
Gli antenati celebrati oltre che per una diretta discendenza famigliare possono essere anche guide, maestri spirituali, che hanno vissuto sulla Terra in passato ed hanno già compiuto un evoluzione spirituale.
Una pratica in parte legata al culto degli antenati è anche il conosciuto Animismo , per quanto si riferisce a credenze molto antiche, il termine è stato coniato solo in tempi più recenti.
Il culto degli antenati non è considerato solamente un culto a sé ma bensì una pratica presente in diversi culti fin dall'antichità. L'importanza è dovuta al fatto che gli antenati da sempre sono la maggiore eredità spirituale di un popolo e potenti protettori della sua cultura.

And not all the ancestors were benevolent presences, many times in so many traditions the same ones could become Demons that brought disaster, so it was important to celebrate them and make sure they were always benevolent.
This practice has always been present in different cultures, we can find it in the Chinese tradition, in the various cultures related to Shamanism, in the native cults in America, Africa, Greece and Egypt. Also present in many other parts of the world, even in different cultures such as the Celts and the Romans.
Many are the divinatory forms, the receptacles of souls and the funeral tables that refer to the cults of the ancestors found over the centuries, some also include funerary rites and mortuary ones.
The ancestors celebrated as well as for a direct family descent can also be guides, spiritual teachers, who have lived on Earth in the past and have already completed a spiritual evolution.
A practice partly linked to the cult of the ancestors is also the known Animism, as it refers to very ancient beliefs, the term was coined only in more recent times.
The cult of the ancestors is not only considered a cult in itself but rather a practice present in various cults since ancient times. The importance is due to the fact that the ancestors have always been the greatest spiritual heritage of a people and powerful protectors of its culture.
